The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL 2024) is set to begin on January 19 and will end on March 1, 2024.
The Comilla Victorians, the defending champions, will open the tournament at Mirpur against Durdanto Dhaka, while the Sylhet Strikers, the runners-up, will do the same against Chattogram Challengers later in the day.
The BPL 2024 will take place in the customary venues in Sylhet, Chattogram, and Dhaka. On February 25, the playoffs will begin in Dhaka.
The Khulna Tigers, Sylhet Strikers, Comilla Victorians, Fortune Barishal, Rangpur Riders, Durdanto Dhaka, and Chattogram Challengers are the seven teams competing for the BPL 2024 trophy.
The top four teams advance to the play-offs after 42 league matches. The top two teams will have two opportunities to advance to the BPL 2024 final game, and just like the IPL format, the third and fourth teams will need to win two straight games to play the final on March 1.
