Jeremy Allen White is All Clawed up, Replaces Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in MCU Art
Actor Jeremy Allen White is probably one of the most talked about actors in the entertainment industry right now. The actor is well-known for his roles as Phillip “Lip” Gallagher in the comedy-drama series Shameless (2011–2021) and as chef Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto in the comedy-drama series The Bear (2022–present). The actor has showcased his talent in various genres, but the superhero genre is something that he will never touch.
In the past, the actor has revealed that he was approached for a “Marvel-y” movie but he was rejected because of his attitude. Even though the actor is not interested in playing a superhero, his fans just cannot have it. A recent fan art went viral on social media that reimagined Allen White as the Wolverine.

Jeremy Allen White was approached for a role in a superhero movie
In November 2023, White told GQ Magazine that he was approached for a role in a “Marvel-y” movie, but he was rejected because of his attitude. The actor explained,
“I had a meeting for a kind of Marvel-y movie, and I had an attitude – I think I played it all wrong.” He revealed that he told the executives, “Tell me about why should I do your movie,” and it certainly backfired as he recalled, “They were like, ‘Fuck you,’ and I was like, ‘Right on.’”
White has always been skeptical about superhero movies, so it’s hard to say if he will ever agree to play a superhero. The actor has the talent, looks, and physique for it but it would definitely take a lot of convincing.
