At the PMGC grand finals, PUBG Mobile developers surprised the community by revealing the much anticipated 3.0 update. In an early December 2023 social media post, the developer hinted at some of the patch’s features in a way that increased the hype.
The 3.0 update’s beta version was then made available, allowing players to see what Tencent Games had in store.
The next update will provide an improved battle royale experience, including a new themed mode, map, Metro Royale gameplay, World of Wonder changes, and many other enhancements.
Gamers anticipate that the developers will soon announce the update’s release date because it has so many intriguing things in store.
PUBG Mobile 3.0 Update
There will be tons of new in-game stuff added with the patch. Some of the material that was shown off during the PUBG Mobile 3.0 update’s beta test is given below.
Improved sprinting, climbing, tumbling, and shooting down-sight actions will result from the update. This will result in more fluid body motions and a more lifelike gaming experience.
Bullets will pass through bodies and vests, striking several enemies along their path with improvements to bolt action sniper rifles. The second target of the bullet will be hit less severely, though. Furthermore, the vests and helmets will become less durable due to the rounds fired by the Bolt Action SRs.
Drivers may utilize other healers without difficulty, with the exception of Medkits and First Aid kits.
The 3.0 update for PUBG Mobile will be released two months following update 2.9, in line with previous trends. Tencent Games, the developer, has been operating under this structure for some time. Given that the latest 2.9 update was issued on November 9, 2023, we anticipate the new patch to be available around mid-to late January.
It should be noted that the developer often announces such an update a few days before to the formal patch release, never providing an exact date. No formal announcement of a release date has been made so far.
