The Vivo X Fold 3 base model has been recently spotted on a Geekbench listing, confirming some details about the upcoming foldable smartphone before their March 26 launch

The vanilla model has been given the V2303A model number. In the listing, it is discovered that the device will be powered by 16GB RAM, which echoes the previously reported details of the model. Aside from this, the listing confirms that it will house the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which is just behind the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC of the Pro model in the series.

According to AnTuTu in its recent post, it spotted the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and 16GB RAM. The benchmarking website reported that it recorded “the highest score among folding screens” in the device.

The basic Vivo X Fold 3 model, nonetheless, is expected to be just a few steps behind its sibling in the series. According to the Geekbench test on the listing, the device with the said hardware components accumulated 2,008 single-core points and 5,490 multi-core points.

Aside from the chip and 16GB RAM, the X Fold 3 is reportedly offering the following features and hardware:

  • According to well-known leaker Digital Chat Station, the design of Vivo X Fold 3 will make it the “lightest and thinnest device with an inward vertical hinge.”
  • According to the 3C certification website, Vivo X Fold 3 will get 80W wired fast charging support. The device is also set to have a 5,550mAh battery.
  • The certification also revealed that the device will be 5G capable.
  • Vivo X Fold 3 will get a trio of rear cameras: a 50MP primary camera with OmniVision OV50H, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle, and a 50MP telephoto 2x optical zoom and up to 40x digital zoom.
  • The model is reportedly getting a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
