Vivo X100 Ultra to launch in May instead of April helobaba.com
According to a recent claim from a well-known leaker, Vivo has decided to push back the launch of its X100 Ultra model.
Prior to the news, the model was earlier reported to make a debut in April in China. However, according to tipster Digital Chat Station, this will instead be postponed. According to the account that shared the details on Weibo, the model could not launch before May, suggesting uncertainty that it could even be pushed back further. The reasons behind the move were not revealed, however.
The model is expected to offer fans some interesting features and serve as the top model in the X100 series. With the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro already launched in India, the Ultra variant is rumored to offer better hardware, including a Samsung E7 AMOLED 2K screen display. Earlier reports claimed that the model will also be powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and a 5,000mAh battery with 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support. The Pro smartphone is also expected to have an impressive camera system consisting of a 50MP LYT-900 main camera with OIS support, a 200MP periscope telephoto camera with up to 200x digital zoom, 50 MP IMX598 ultra-wide lens, and an IMX758 telephoto camera.
With these components and its rumored “Ultra” branding (although it could also be a Pro+, as per other claims), the model should come at a higher price compared to its Pro sibling. However, there are still no details about how much it would cost.
