Oppo cancels Find N5 Flip helobaba.com

A leaker claimed that Oppo had canceled its Find N5 Flip model, which was expected to be released this year.

Tipster Yogesh Brar made the claim on X, listing the 2024 foldable lineup. Interestingly, the post pointed out that of all the expected foldables this year, only the Find N5 Flip is the one that is canceled.

This follows earlier reports about the company backing out of its foldable business. However, the company denied the claims, promising it would still continue offering the design.

Brar didn’t specify the reason behind the claim, but if it is true, it could be assumed that the decision could be the effect of the earlier flip demands and sales. Of course, this should still be taken with a pinch of salt, as Oppo itself has to confirm this. Moreover, while this could strengthen beliefs that it is the first step toward the company finally giving up on foldables, Oppo is unlikely to do it as the foldable market is promising and continuously flourishing.

As for its other smartphone business, the company continues to strive. Recently, Oppo released Realme 12 5G and F25 Pro 5G, while its Dimensity 9000-armed Oppo Find X7 managed to dominate the recent February 2024 AnTuTu flagship ranking. Moreover, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is expected to release more models this year, which is evident from recent leaks pointing to K12 and Reno 12 Pro.
