Cristiano Ronaldo had made a move to Al-Nassr in 2023
After an unceremonious exit from Manchester United, Ronaldo penned down a deal with Al-Nassr. Notably, he had a fiery interview with broadcaster Piers Morgan during the early periods of December. That paved his exit from the legendary Premier League club.
“I can’t wait to discover a new football league in a different country. The vision with which Al Nassr operates is very inspiring, and I am delighted to join my teammates, so that together we can help the team achieve greater success,” said the 37-year-old talismanic striker after his deal with Al-Nassr.
Since then, the Portuguese striker has given a brand-new identity and recognition to the football league in Saudi Arabia. Several top footballers in the form of N’Golo Kante, Karim Benzema and Neymar Jr. have come to this football league.
Till date, Ronaldo has played 34 matches for Al-Nassr and has scored 34 goals. Previously he has played for some heavyweight clubs such as Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus.
