The undersides of Kundan jewellery are enameled while in Polki jewellery the sides are made of pure gold foil, and at the back, you will see the same pattern, which makes the jewellery more authentic, pure, but heavy to carry, and its price point also stands the same. But as Kundan uses glass stones with minimal gold wax finishing, it is lightweight, and thus you would understand the difference.
