What preinstalled apps can you remove from OnePlus Open, and how can you remove them?

OnePlus Open is a decent foldable smartphone complemented by the OxygenOS 14. However, there seems to be one notable issue about the OnePlus Open: its unnecessary preinstalled apps. Thankfully, you can uninstall many of them in simple steps.

As mentioned before, the apps above should not affect your system when you uninstall them. Some of them are actually helpful, but if you think you won’t need them and they only clutter your system, it is better to remove the apps. Still, it is important to note that you must be sure of the app’s purpose before you remove them.

When you’re ready, you can start uninstalling the apps. You can do it individually by tapping and holding an app in the app drawer. Doing so will give you the Uninstall or Disable options. If you want to uninstall or disable numerous apps, it is better to go to the Settings page:

  1. Launch the Settings app.
  2. Go to Apps and tap App Management.
  3. Select the app you want to uninstall.
  4. Select Uninstall. If the app can only be disabled, make sure to clear the application cache after the process to ensure that no data is left.
