During his journey to the edge of the solar system to collect ancient space dust, he encounters a seemingly docile extraterrestrial spider named Hanus (Paul Dano), who was revealed in the official trailer.

Missing his wife, Lenka (Carey Mulligan), and feeling as though the pieces of his life are beginning to crumble around him, Hanus helps him work through his emotional problems. However, Jakub starts to think he’s simply lost his mind. Spaceman will be streaming on Netflix on Mar. 1.

After a woman named Ma Ri (Choi Sung-eun) steals the only money he has, he confronts her, and the two strike up a connection neither one expected.

Having both lost their mothers, the pair sympathize with one another, although each responds to their grief in very different ways. Loh Kiwan has made a vow to survive no matter what, whereas Ma Ri would rather give up her life. With the threat of deportation looming over him, Loh Kiwan is determined to keep his vow no matter what. My Name is Loh Kiwan streams on Netflix on Mar. 1.

Irish Wish

Shirley

Written and directed by John Ridley, Shirley is a biographical drama about Shirley Chisholm (Regina King), the first Black woman elected to the United States Congress. While Chisholm’s career blazed a trail for many who came after her, the film focuses on her groundbreaking run for the Democratic presidential nomination in 1972.

Known for taking a stand against economic, social, and political injustice, Chisholm was an ardent supporter of Black civil rights as well as women’s rights. Posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2015, Chisholm was undoubtedly an American icon. The film also stars Lance Reddick, Lucas Hedges, André Holland, and Terrence Howard.
