Kill the Justice League Character is Getting the Love he Didn’t During his Arkham Trilogy Stint

We are now counting down the days till Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League finally makes its release on January 30th, and gamers are still torn on what to think. Understandably, there are millions of fans of the DC universe who have been eagerly awaiting an experience and story just like this, but that doesn’t mean people will be happy with what they will receive.

However, there is one thing that many gamers are surprisingly excited for, and that is the return of The Riddler and his Riddler trophies, which will be scattered around Metropolis for the Suicide Squad to find and solve.

How Is the Riddler Making His Re-Appearance in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, and Will It Be as Involved as It Was in the Arkham Series?

For anyone who has played the Arkham series of games, you will most likely remember The Riddlers puzzles and trophies that he left all around the Gotham area. Whether they were just simple trophies hidden behind a brick wall or a convoluted puzzle that could take half an hour to solve, there was always something for players to find to prove that The Riddler wasn’t the smartest person in the room.

Unfortunately, back in the Arkham series, players were playing as Batman, who is constantly referred to as the greatest detective, which is something that The Riddler constantly attempts to disprove. In the original Arkham games, there would be hundreds of Riddler trophies, Riddles, and enemies to fight, which would somehow prove Batman is the greatest detective.

In the original Arkham series, Batman would go along with this, as every puzzle he solved would bring him one step closer to finding The Riddler so that he could put him behind bars. This doesn’t seem to be the situation that is taking place within Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, as the characters we play aren’t overly interested in being the smartest or putting The Riddler behind bars.

This means that The Riddler must have some kind of alternative reason as to why he has placed his puzzles and trophies around Metropolis in this version of the DC universe. One could say that he is still attempting to prove he is the greatest, but rather than proving he is smarter than Batman, he is now proving he is the smartest villain.

What makes this more interesting is the characters we play, how this will impact them, and whether or not they will take on the challenge. Let’s be honest, The Riddler isn’t exactly up against some intelligent villains, or even sane ones for that matter, so it does seem like an unfair challenge, but knowing these characters, they will most likely take up the challenge just to prove who is the smartest between them rather than beating The Riddler.

Are There Hundreds of Riddler Puzzles to Solve, or Only a Few?

At the moment, the only confirmation we have regarding the number of puzzles and secrets we will have to find within Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is the list of trophies that are currently being leaked on Reddit, which we will not be sharing in this article.

The only piece of information that we will be sharing about the leaked amount of Riddler content is the fact that there is going to be a similar amount of Riddler puzzles to what there was in Arkham Asylum, along with some more of the artificial reality missions that appeared in Arkham Knight.

So far, we do not know how in-depth these puzzles will be; they could be just like in the Arkham games, causing the player to use all four characters to move certain objects or activate certain objects at a certain time to solve the puzzle.

But until the game finally releases in a few days, we do not know how this will work or whether it will be worth doing it at all.

Are you excited about The Riddler making a return in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League? Or are you sick of seeing his trophies? Let us know in the comments what you think!
