We discuss predictions for the Apple TV+ series Masters of the Air Season 1 Episode 4, including the release date and where to watch online.
The third chapter in “The Greatest Generation Trilogy,” Masters of the Air, is adapted by John Orloff from the nonfiction best-seller Masters of the Air: America’s Bomber Boys Who Fought the Air War Against Nazi Germany by historian Donald Miller, the series effectively captures vast conflicts, dangerous aerial battles, and the harsh realities confronted by the airmen from all walks of life.
Apple TV+ describes Masters of the Air as “portraying the psychological and emotional price paid by these young men as they helped destroy the horror of Hitler’s Third Reich, emphasizing that it’s at the heart of the series. Some were shot down and captured; some were wounded or killed. And some were lucky enough to make it home. Regardless of individual fate, a toll exacted on them all.”

Here’s what happened in Apple TV+’s Masters of the Air Season 1, Episodes 1 & 2:
- The 100th will participate in a highly complicated “three-punch combo,” taking three squadrons. That’s because the 100th is “tail-end Charlie” and mans the back. One of the airmen says, “Are lives worth nickels to them?”
- The 100th will bomb a factory in Regensburg. Instead of turning back, which will have the Germans waiting, they will fly to Africa in Telergma. The idea is that the Germans will not know where to look while the Americans bomb determined sites with precision with three squadrons flying in different directions, nor will they wait for them to return to England.
- Buck requests to be a “reserved commander” for the mission that will land in Africa. Major Egan (Callum Turner) will fly in Captain Cruikshank’s fort. The guy volunteers to be on the most dangerous mission in the world—all while being in the back seat.
- However, the two other squadrons are held back because of the weather, and the 100th is sent in alone. The 100th lost the majority of their bombers. That includes Curt (Barry Keoghan), whose plan explodes on impact when trying to land the lane to save Dickie.
- Quinn is unable to save his friend Baby Face before the bomber explodes, leaving him tucked in the ball turret. He manages to parachute safely into German-occupied Belgium. Quinn is held at gunpoint by the resistance fighters in Germany-occupied Belgium. They ask him if he wants to “survive or escape.”
- Meanwhile, Buck, Bucky (Austin Butler), and Kidd land their planes on the runway in Africa because of Croz’s coordinates.

Masters of the Air Season 1 Episode 4 Release Date and Time
Masters of the Air episode 4 will be released on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, February 9th, 2024, at 3:01 a.m. ET/12:01 a.m. PT. The episode’s title is “Part 3,” and the runtime of episode 4 is 49 minutes and 3 seconds long, according to the Appl TV press site.

Predictions for Masters of the Air Season 1 Episode 4:
- How do the men move on from the bloodiest battle in the 100th’s brief history? At this point, the concept of trauma hasn’t been classified yet. As the men wait for rescue in Africa, someone will succumb to depression and maybe something worse.
- I think Quinn will be one of those characters that will be captured and killed. He will wonder if he survived the fall, but it may just seem longer if he is captured and tortured for being a spy. Will he also be someone I talked about above, where he succumbs to survivor’s guilt?
- Croz will receive a medal for his consistent efforts in saving his brothers by navigating them to safety. He will also begin to drink heavily.
- One of the men’s wives or girlfriends will write them a “Dear John” letter breaking up with them.
