Sparking Zero’s Upcoming ‘Power vs Speed’ Will be a Nostalgic Rollercoaster for Long Time Fans of the Anime
The game has not even dropped yet and excitement among the fans is already over the roof. Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero is an upcoming game and the next installment in the Budokai Tenkaichi series. As of now, fans can only speculate about the in-game content to come and V-Jump scans just add to their curiosity.
In the latest trailer of the game, Goku and Vegeta can be seen clashing against each other, just like old times. The rivalry is typically fueled by Vegeta’s desire to be separate and superior to Goku, however, he shares more similarities than differences with his rival. Interestingly, Vegeta admires (and at the same time, envies) Goku’s strength.
So It’s Power Vs Speed in Dragon Ball Next
New V-Jump scans of the game shared by an X/Twitter user dubbed, ShonenGames, offer a glimpse at the theme of Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero‘s trailer. One of the two pages showcases the phrase “Power vs Speed” which explains a lot given the long-running rivalry between the two. Although the original V-Jump scans were in Japanese, the user made things simple by translating the images into English.
Moreover, it included screenshots from the game highlighting various transformations of Goku and Vegeta that will be featured in the title. Players will see Vegeta’s super ape form, Majin Vegeta, Super Vegeta, and more. It also mentions the kind of abilities players will get to use with every form they choose to play with.
The Goku side of the V-Jump scan featured the character’s forms like Son Goku alongside a few more, unlike Vegeta who has got a lot of variety here. Although it does showcase Goku punching Vegeta, which is an obvious sign of his strength. Hopes of the game coming this year appear high as it is still awaiting a release date announcement.
The Game May Prove a Boon to The Company’s Finances
Recently, Bandai Namco shared some screenshots of the game showcasing Vegeta in his Super Saiyan God form.
The details from the post left the fans awestruck. The post read: “Vegeta (Super), Super Saiyan God is here to settle the score in DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO,” This hype for the game will hopefully add a boost to Bandai Namco’s slow-moving revenue.
According to the latest numbers shared by Bandai Namco, in its latest quarterly earnings report, there was an 8.9 percent decline in its video game division. Interestingly, its latest game in the Tekken franchise has reportedly sold 2 million copies already. This is great news that will hopefully help get the company through the hard times that are plaguing the gaming industry.
Now that Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero is coming, although unannounced yet, it could prove to be a boon for the company as fans are already eager to try their hands at it.
