It has been announced that Origin Forme Dialga will be coming to Pokémon Go from February 17th until February 18th, during a specific event known as the Pokémon Go Tour: Sinnoh-Los Angeles. There will also be a worldwide event that takes place from February 24th until February 25th.
The way to unlock this unique legendary Pokémon is by taking part in a 5-star raid that will be available during these set days. Since this is such a limited-time event, you will surely want to know the best moveset and stats you can earn from this special creature, which will be detailed below.
The Best Moveset for Origin Forme Dialga that Players Can Earn in Pokemon Go.
If you aren’t familiar with Dialga from the Pokémon universe, it is one of the three original creation trio, which were made up of Palkia, Dialga, and Giratina.
Each of these Pokémon has already made their debut within Pokemon Go, but now Palkia and Dialga will be making an appearance as their origin formes, which were revealed in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
In regards to Dialga, if you were to capture it from a 5-star raid boss battle, you will earn a fantastic dual Steel/Dragon type Pokémon that has some pretty amazing stats, which are set at 270 (ATK), 225 (DEF), and 205 (STAT), along with a max CP value of 4090.
These are already some incredibly strong stats that you can use to your advantage, but there is also the bonus of origin, with Dialga being a Steel/Dragon type. This means it is only vulnerable to two other types, which are fighting and ground; the rest, Dialga is incredibly resistant to.
To make the most of these bonuses, you will need to hope that when capturing your own Dialga, you get the abilities metal claw for its fast move and the roar of time for its charged move, which will also be an adventure effect.
What Other Abilities Can You Earn, and Why Are the Ones Above the Best?
Even though the two abilities mentioned above are some of the best you can earn for the Origin Forme Dialga, there are others that you can acquire when you capture this rare creature within Pokemon Go, but they aren’t as useful or as strong.
For the Origin Forme Dialga, there are two fast moves that it can earn, which are dragon’s breath and metal claw, and there are four different charged moves it can use, known as iron head, thunder, draco meteor, and roar of time.
Many of these moves can be quite beneficial for Dialga to use within battles, as they cannot be used in gyms to defend them, since they are legendary. However, metal claw and roar of time have some of the best synergy with Dialga, as they both benefit from the same type bonuses, while roar of time is also an adventure skill to boot.
