Directed by James A. Woods & Nicolas Wright, French Girl stars the likes of Evelyne Brochu, Luc Picard, Antoine Olivier Pilon, Isabelle Vincent, Charlotte Aubin, Muriel Dutil, with William Fichtner and Vanessa Hudgens alongside Zach Braff.

In a joint statement to PEOPLE, directors Woods and Wright described French Girl as “our love letter to the place we were born and raised, the beautiful Canadian province of Quebec.” The pair “were amazed by the similarities of our parents’ stories; English men who fell head over heels with French Canadian women and moved to La Belle Province to start their families. We were inspired to frame that story as a throwback romantic comedy that would celebrate the culture clash” between the U.S. and Canada.

Due to debut at the 2024 Santa Barbara International Film Festival, French Girl is set to land in theaters on March 15.

Zach Braff Thinks a Scrubs Revival Will Happen Eventually

scrubs

The idea and hopes of an eventual Scrubs reunion with Zach Braff and the rest of the Sacred Heart team has been doing the rounds in recent years, thanks to the return of several major sitcoms such as Frasier. While there is currently nothing in development, Scrubs creator Bill Lawrence certainly thinks that a revival is “inevitable.”

“I think it’s inevitable that it happens. The joke of it with us is the first time that six months go by that we don’t hang out, we’ll end up doing a Scrubs reunion.”

But it’s not just Lawrence who’s on board. Braff has also stated that he too thinks a Scrubs return, perhaps even a Scrubs movie, will happen eventually.

“We talk about that, because I point to Psych, who’s now made 2 successful films. It would be fun. I think it would be fun for us to all do something like that. We just have to get Disney to be into it and Bill Lawrence to be into it. I think it will happen; the fans seem to really want it to happen.”
